An undecorated rim/shoulder fragment, probably from a short-necked LM jar. All surfaces are highly abraded and pock-marked (spalls?), particularly heavily on the exterior neck. This gives the exterior a mottling of Grayish Brown 10YR 5/2 coloration. Faint and dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on both surfaces. The fabric is compact, well-fired. Fine and coarse sand particles are present in the fabric in limited amounts, in addition to the very fine sand. Limited frequencies of pyrite particles are also present. Breaks are smooth.
