An LM s/b sherd, probably a small jar or bowl fragment. The decorative schema consists of the lowest 7 registers of a set of circumferential, comb-applied, incised linear ornaments and what appears to be a single circumferential nail-shaped decoration following immediately inferiorly. This final decoration is essentially superimposed on the lowest (7th) comb line. The nail-shaped incisions are crude enough to almost resemble a dotted line band. All of the ornamentation is positioned on the lower shoulder. The exterior body is mottled with Very Dark Gray GY1 3/N and a single black firing cloud. Circumferential rotational striations are visible on both surfaces. In addition to the fine sand particles, there are limited frequencies of medium sand in the fabric. Several perforating pebbles also visible in both surfaces. High frequencies of sand inclusions are visible perforating the interior surface, limited pyrite. Breaks are rough.
