A typical LB, black on black, body sherd, likely from a small jar. This sample consists of two joined sub-fragments. Sherd thickens considerably (approx. 1mm) superior to inferior, perhaps nearing the base portion of the vessel. The exterior surface features intense circumferential rotational striations. There is limited delamination between core bands one and two. In addition to medium sand, coarse and fine sand are also present in moderate amounts. Several pyrite pops are visible in both surfaces, but little pyrite is visible in the fabric itself. Breaks are rough.
