The upper portion of a KA beaker, the fragment is missing the majority of the rim, preserved only in two spots. This makes it difficult to measure the rim diameter, so the value above is provisional. While fine sand composes the majority of fabric inclusions, some medium sand also present. The interior surface also features some dark reddish gray 5YR 4/2 coloration in addition to the black mentioned above. The circumferential neck decorations consist of two ornament registers, each bounded by a narrow furrow (~0.22cm wide at the edges and 0.52cm wide between the registers). The first register consists of a line of touching triangles, each filled with oblique hatches running upper left to lower right or upper right to lower left. The second register consists of a wide zig-zag ornament where each elbow has been filled by oblique hatching, giving the appearance of complementary interdigitated triangles. Point deocrations also fill portions of the zig-zag lines. There are visible horizontal burnishing marks on the exterior surface and possible rotational striations evident on the interior surface. No evident corrosion, breaks are rough.
