An essentially complete profile of a black KA beaker--not enough of the base portion is preserved to reveal the last details of the profile. The exterior color is listed as black, but it is actually mottled with lots of gray and brown shades also present. The interior surface color is much more uniform. The single register of ornaments at the neck includes a line of double triangles (triangles within triangles) which are filled with oblique hatches and surrounded at random by point deocrations. The register is bordered beneath by a narrow furrow (0.105cm). There are intense horizontal burnishing lines visible on the exterior surface, and some visible for 1.73cm of the interior rim and neck. The interior burnishing stops at that point, giving way to horizontal rotational striations or fabric impressions. While the primary inclusions consist of medium sand, some coarse sand grains are also present. Breaks are rough and there is no significant corrosion visible.
