A medium-sized KA bowl with a rim that angles towards the interior and a complex register of criss-crossing zigzags and oblique hatch ornaments stretching 1.95cm down the exterior body from the rim lip. The decorative schema consists of a single, complex register of "kissing triangles" effected by sets of interlocking zigzags. The upper triangles point inferiorly and the lower triangles superiorly, so that the tips of each touch at the center of the register. The triangles are all full of oblique and vertical hatches, never more than four and never extending across the entire vertical length of the triangle. The inferior edge of the register is constituted by a single circumferential, incised line. The exterior surface is matte black, if ever polished it has now completely abraded away. In contrast, the internal surface from the superior rim surface to the lower body is highly polished, hosting dense horizontal polishing marks, and deep circumferential rotational striations, almost scratches. The interior surface is in fact Black GY1 2.5/N mottled with Light Reddish Brown 2.5YR 6/3. Core band one is actually Pink 7.5YR 7/3, not 7/4. The rim surface is not level, in that it tilts or angles medially, limiting the contact or lip surface to the extreme lateral edge. Coarse sand particles are also present in the fabric in significant amounts, approx 30%. Coarse sand particles perforate both the interior and exterior surfaces of the vessel. Breaks are rough and there is 10% light yellowish brown corrosion on all surfaces.
