This "vessel" is morphologically irregular, suggesting a rectangular or trapezoidal plan. The preserved fragment consists of two linear pieces which connect in a right angle, although the body slants. The shorter line is more than twice as thick as the longer. The object may in fact be a stand or perhaps a shallow pan. A highly complex ornamentation schema covers the entire external surface and consists of a grid of at least 17 equalateral and isoceles triangles positioned in a range of different positions and orientations. The grid itself is made up of impressed furrows and lines in the highly polished exterior surface. The interior (slip) light reddish brown color extends onto the superior rim surface and a small portion of the external rim. Horizontal lines or striations on the internal surface suggest wiping or coil-building activity. In addition to the medium sand noted above, coarse grains are also present, perforating both the internal and external surfaces. Breaks are rough. There is a small amount of red corrosion on the internal surface.
