An obolong hammerstone, triangular, then ovoid in section. Possibly basalt or andesite. Light brown corrosion covers 80% of the tool. The "butt" end is rather rounded, with a single spall, while the hammering end is flat and pecked, its margin nicely smoothed or filed. A nice size and heft for heavy one-handed hammering.
