A small KA vessel, possible a jar or pot, with a single decoration register on its neck and a small ledge handle on the shoulder. The handle consists of a tripartite ledge, the middle portion is flat and the two side portions are concave. It bulges slightly from the exterior wall of the vessel (approx. 0.2cm) and is significantly abraded, but a portion of each of its surfaces is preserved. The decoration schema consists of one register of impressed triangles, highly decorated by oblique hatches on their interiors, framed between a single narrow furrow above and below. The triangles point superiorly and their long sides overlap one another, creating the appearance of zigzags. Oblique hatches and point decorations fill in many of the spaces between and around the triangles. The pinch handle sits directly inferiorly to the lower furrow. The exterior is highly polished, burnished to a shine. Horizontal polishing marks are visible on the exterior surface. The interior vessel color is lighter than Very Dark Gray GY1 3/N, but no suitable choice in munsell book. Core band 1 is redder than Weak Red 10R 5/4, but no suitable choice in munsell book. Coarse and fine sand grains present in addition to the dominant medium sand fabric inclusions noted above. Breaks are smooth with no visible corrosion.
