Fragment from a small LM jar, it is r/s here, although the preserved portion of the rim is small and highly eroded. The eroded rim makes accurate morphological determinations and stancing a bit difficult. The decorative schema consists of a single circumferential incised zig-zag decoration applied over a field of comb-incised circumferential incisions, application of circumferential comb-incised lines. This gives the appearance of a comb-zig-zag-comb ornamentation pattern. Dendritic concretions and general discoloration of the exterior make it difficult to count exactly how many comb lines are extant. The lines average 0.09 cm in width and are spaced on average 0.06 cm apart. The exterior is highly mottled with spotty brown colors, while the interior is almost completely covered in light gray dendritic concretions. All surface determinations are provisional prior to acidic cleaning. In addition to the fine sand, significant frequencies of medium sand inclusions are visible in the fabric. Breaks are rough.
