Fragment of a medium sized LB(I) vessel base and body. The decorative schema consists of a single application of circumferential oblique hatches around the superiormost perimeter of the base. The lines average .975 cm in length and have an average periodicity of .35 cm. The dark interior surface coloration, compared to the exterior, suggests possible use as a cooking pot. Some non-carbon material adhered to internal base. The external surface is 50% covered in features light gray dendritic corrosion, with the interior is 10% covered. In addition to the very fine sand, limited frequencies of medium sand inclusions are visible in the fabric. Breaks are rough.
