Decorated shoulder fragment from a small LM vessel. The ornamentation consists of two circumferential sets of comb ornamentation both superior and inferior to a single band of cord pattern applique. The upper portion/half of the applique decoration appears to be missing across most of the sherd. The comb lines are of 1.15 on average width and are more deeply incised inferior to the cord decoration, suggesting two different moments of application. In fact, a large portion of the vessel appears to have been comb-incised, lightly, after which the cord ornament was applied and deeper incisions added above it. Circumferential rotational striations are visible on the interior surface (exterior is completely decorated). 10% of the entire sherd is covered in white corrosion. In addition to the fine sand listed, medium and coarse sand are also present in the fabric. Breaks are smooth.
