This is a peculiar object that would not normally be classed as a small find, as it appears to be a butchered bone, and not a worked artifact. However, there appear to be pieces of obsidian (2) wedged into a cut side of what appears to be an goat/sheep bone. Is this the result of secondary butchery or is it coincidental? Both sides of the cut bone have stones wedged into it, but the other side does not appear to be obsidian. The artifact will be photographed and requires Belinda's special attention before the obsidian pieces are removed to determine if they are worked.
