A complete single-handled small beaker, save a very old chip in one location at the rim/neck transition. The decorative schema consists of a 4 circumferenrtial furrows , applied with a comb tool or as 4 separate presses. The lines average 0.3 cm in width and are spaced on average 0.45 cm apart, but there is an extremely high standard deviation, suggesting that separate applications are more likely. The exterior appears to have been highly polished at some point, with significant amounts of it now abraded off, particularly between each furrow. The within each furow feature a line of missing circumferential polish/slip. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on the internal surface, while much less visible on the polished exterior. The exterior is 10% mottled with 10YR 6/4 Light Yellowish Brown. It is not possible to evaluate the cores/fabric, as no fresh breaks are exposed. The external surface features significant amounts of white dendritic corrosion, particularly in the area of the handle. In addition to the coarse sand, significant frequencies of very coarse and medium sand inclusions are visible in the fabric. The external surface shows a low frequency of mica pops, with even less observable on the internal surface. Rim/neck chip is rough.
