Designated MAE224--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. Fragment from a short-necked LM jar--gradual neck, rather the opposite of a cylindrical collar neck. The decorative schema consists of a single circumferential zig-zag, but so little is preserved that measurements are impossible. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on both surfaces, and skew wipe marks on the exterior. All surfaces are 20% covered in light gray corrosion, including the rim indent, which measures 0.314 cm in width. In addition to the fine sand, significant amounts of medium and coarse sand are visible in the fabric, and limited frequencies of inclusions perforate all surfaces (including an occasional very coarse sand or pebble particle). Limited pyrite pops are visible in both surfaces. Breaks are rough.
