Designated MAE226--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. A majority profile fragment from an LB bowl. The decorative schema consists of two circumferential incised lines (or furrows), over which a double chevron has been superimposed, all sitting on the superior shoulder. The double chevron is executed through polish removal and has rather rough, inconsistent edges. The external rim surface is 50% chipped, spalled, and missing. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on the interior surface, while several circumferential rotational scratch marks ad striations are visible superior and inferior to the exterior decorations. The exterior polish continues over onto the interior rim before stopping. In addition to the medium sand, moderate frequencies of very coarse sand are visible in the fabric. Limited frequencies of inclusions perforate all surfaces. Breaks are rough.
