Designated MAE220--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. An elongated fragment from an LM vessel. The sherd interior appears to have been burned significantly in a Gegharot destruction and much of the interior surface, layer, slip, etc. is missing, crumbling away. Some circumferential rotational striations and scratch marks are visible on the exterior, as well as horizontal / circumferential polish. The majority of the polish, however, has abraded off. In addition to the very fine sand, significant amounts of medium and coarse sand are visible in the fabric and surface, in very high amounts in the coarse, internal surface. Moderate frequencies of pyrite pops are visible on the external surface. Breaks are hackley.
