Designated MAE210--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. Undecorated fragment from an LB Gegharot shrine pithos (pithos A?). This incredibly thick body fragment has been substantially cracked, bent, and generally disfigured by destruction fire throughout. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on all surfaces, particularly on the exterior where they are combined with skew, linear textile wipes and impressions, which run mostly horizontal by also vertical in some isolated instances. while several circumferential rotational scratch marks ad striations are visible superior and inferior to the exterior comb incisions. The interior is 25% mottled with Weak Red 10R 5/4. In addition to the very fine sand, significant frequencies of coarse, very coarse, and pebble particles are visible in the fabric and in limited surface perforations. Breaks are hackley.
