Designated MAE189--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. A shoulder fragment from a medium sized LB jar. The decorative schema consists of two impressed, circumferential furrows. The furrows are positioned one after another, average 0.97 cm in width, and are separated by raised areas that average 0.45 cm in width. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on all surfaces, particularly on the interior where the decorative activity has disturbed them less. The exterior is highly mottled with browns and grays. The interior munsell should be Pink 7.5YR 7/3, not 7/4. In addition to the fine sand, moderate amounts of medium and coarse sand are visible in the fabric. Limited frequencies of inclusions perforate all surfaces and very limited pyrite pops are present on the exterior. Breaks are rough.
