Remarks

Designated MAE161--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. Shoulder sherd from a small, well-fired, compact fabric LM vessel. This could be a EB sherd due to its compactness and lack of rotational striations. Also, slight delamination is visible between bands 1 and 2 in the superior sherd wall. The decorative schema consists of a single incised, circumferential line. The exterior appears to have been well polished, but much of that material has been dulled and/or abraded away. In addition to the fine sand, significant amounts of medium and coarse sand are visible in the fabric. Moderate amounts of fine sand and pyrite pops are visible in all surfaces. Breaks are smooth.
