This could be a fragment from the elongated neck of a large EB jar. The rim diameter is an approximation as a large spall from the rim interior prevent a truly accurate measurement. Minor (10%) amounts of the exterior surface are covered in light brown corrosion and crazing. The interior surface is widely encrusted and the interior slip has eroded away in several locations. The coarse sand inclusions are punctuated by very coarse sand grains. Designated MAE 640.
