Almost all of the exterior polish is gone, but faint traces remain. Under the polish there are striations indicative of a textile or basket mold. A very low amount of corrosion is present on the exterior. There is a significant amount 30% of coarse sand temper mixed in with the medium sand mentioned above. SAXS analysis conducted at ANL on 3/16/06. Designated MAE 645.
