6/2/06 A complete red chert (?) sickle blade, heavily retouched on one edge. The other, less retouched edge exhibits traces of bitumen, likely from hafting activities. The stone exhibits high amounts of white included veins and nodules. Polishing on the heavily retouched edge demonstrates extensive use. Color note: Red with white inclusions
