Designated MAE241--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. Undecorated fragment from a small LM vessel--could be a necked jar, neckless jar, or pot sherd. The superior rim surface hosts an indentation / furrow, so it is unclear whether a classification of "2-part indented" or "2- part" with furrow decoration is more appropriate. The superior rim surface is also rather worn and eroded. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible all surfaces, except for the damaged superior rim. Both interior and exterior rim are mottled colored Very Dark Gray GY1 3/N, a rather stark different from the brown internal and external neck. In addition to the fine sand, significant frequencies of medium and coarse sand are visible in the fabric. Limited frequencies of inclusions perforated the exterior and moderate amounts the interior. Breaks are rough.
