The cups in the incisors indicate that the horse is under 11 years of age. The wear on the third molar (which erupts at 4 years old) indicates that it has been in wear for awhile, so the this horse is probably between 6-11 years old. This is supported by the phalanges, which are all fused, but show no evidence of age-related pathologies.
