This light-colored sherd belies a fabric fired in a dominantly reducing atmosphere. The core is compact and relatively hard. Both of the furrows are surrounded by raised lines which frame them, yielding three lines total. Above these decoration is a a lot of vertical polishing. Red polish as well as the remnant marks of abraded polish remain. The interior surface is relatively coarse, although it has certainly been smoothed before firing. Significant amounts of inclusions are visible in the interior surface. Faint horizontal lines are visible on the interior surface, perhaps impressions, perhaps rotational markings. No evident corrosion and only limited mica popping on the exterior.
