This rim fragment likely derives from a rather large LB storage vessel. The rolled rim sits directly above some extra clay and scratches left during formation, but there is no decoration to speak of. The surfaces and rather light in color, reddish grays, and the core is also rather light, certainly not the typical Black, reduced color, suggesting a mixed firing environment, perhaps a bonfire. A lot of the very coarse sand temper is visible in the more abraded interior surface, while the exterior is better smoothed, but features numerous mica \'pops.\' The interior features basket or textile impressions all the way up to the neck, where the surface becomes much smoother.
