Remarks

Band 1 color is actually Dark Reddish Gray 2.5YR 3/1. This is likely form a small LB cup, but I\'m wondering if LB cups are restricted... does this then make this a tiny jar? The rim is terribly abraded, so the diameter measurement is not as accurate as usual. The exterior surface features several horizontal lines of polish decoration--4 in total, starting just below the rim. The first two are of equal size, about 0.7mm thick, and the next two are smaller, about 0.27mm thick. These lines could also be the result of polish loss over time. Pale brown corrosion covers 20% of the interior and exterior surfaces. Subtle striations on the interior surface all run horizontally. Mica is visible in both the internal and external surfaces. While there is not rim indent for a lid, there is significant abrasion on the interior surface just below the rim, suggesting rubbing from some kind of closure apparatus.
