Even though there is a portion of the neck attached to this rim fragment, it is too small to say much about the neck trajectory. Also because of the almost non existent neck, there is barely any true exterior surface besides the lateral rim edge. Instead of rolling the rim here, the potter has bent it out from the neck, and used a tool to remove material underneath the pull, creating negative space instead of rolling. This is visible as the rim suddenly ends in a horizontal cut, underneath. There is some highly abraded polish evident on the lateral edge of the rim. There is light yellowish brown corrosion present across 10% of the surfaces. Some annular scratches and sand particles are visible on the interior of the neck.
