This fragment constitutes an essentially complete vessel base, likely a medium-sized jar. It has very interesting fabric structure, where the coarse sand included dominant layer has been coated on the vessel interior with an approximately 2mm-thick layer of very-coarse or grit included clay, slightly lighter in color. The layer is highly visible at certain breaks where it has completely delaminated. This application is completely coarse and there are particles of all sizes poking through the unsmoothed surface. Large pieces of mica and obsidian, I believe, are visible in the internal surface. There are smaller sand particles visible in the fabric in addition to the coarse sand recorded above. External surface is highly abraded and all abrasions contain white corrosion, perhaps 50% of the surface area Breaks are smooth.
