Thickness varies widely on this fragment as it thickens towards in the direction of the body. Due to all the corrosion on the internal surface, 100% covered in pink corrosion, and the difficulty of testing the heavily decorated external surface hardness, the above hardness value is likely inaccurate. This also makes the internal color and treatment hard to judge. The interior surface is only visible in scratches. The fine sand fabric also includes larger inclusions, and the overall fabric character makes it difficult to attribute this sherd to a smaller time temporal range. While the remaining polish, on neck-side shoulder portion, suggests earlier attribution, the uniform red fabric and finer temper, suggest later. Each register consists of multiple comb-made lines: 4 lines, 4 wavy lines, 3 lines. The upper two lines of the first register are polished. The wavy lines are constantly interrupted by each other, especially the upper two, and appear rather haphazardly rendered. Very minor white corrosion on the exterior. Breaks are generally smooth.
