This sherd consists of two mending fragments. As this is a typical LBA1 bowl, the neck and shoulder are only minutely expressed in the form. The four furrows are so well modeled, that they may actually result from a relief technique as opposed to a press tool. Very little polish remains on the exterior due to very intense abrasion, perhaps post-depositional, but perhaps not, because the rim surface is very intensely abraded as well, clearly from use. The rim also has several large laterally-positioned chips. The external surface is also covered is spindly white corrosion, perhaps 30% of the total surface, likely from roots. The internal is also covered by 30% corrosion, but pink. Fabric is listed as containing dominantly medium sand, but very coarse sand grains and coarse sand grains are also present. Breaks are smooth--sherds are rather eroded and all ancient breaks are completely corroded.
