Remarks

External color should be 7.5YR 6/1 Gray. Internal color should be 7.5YR 6/1 Gray. This sherd may also contain the beginning of the vessel should, which is quickly extending from the neck, suggesting an LB affiliation. A small line produced by a press tool marks the lateral rim portion where the rim was push/reinforced into position. The internal and external colors may represent corrosion instead of the original black surface. The internal surface is even mottled black and light gray. Superior rim surface of this sherd is highly abraded and not symmetrical and therefore difficult to stance. Rotational striations are visible on both surfaces and corrosion is clearly present on 75% of the interior surface. Breaks are smooth.
