The middle portion of a likely LM jar. The sherd consists of two, un-joined sub-fragments. The vessel's decorative schema consists of a circumferential zigzag decoration on the upper shoulder and two circumferential dotted-line ornaments positioned just above the s/b transition. Not sure if there's a dotted-line decoration element choice, so "line" is used above. The exterior body features some moderate spalling, chipping, and organic burnouts. While the exterior is noted as Black above, the vessel is basically black on the lower shoulder and body, while the upper shoulder and neck are Light Brownish Gray 10YR 6/2. High frequency circumferential rotational striations and impressions (as well as inconsistent wiping marks) are visible on both surfaces. In addition to the fine sand noted above, coarse sand is also present in fabric in moderate frequencies. Moderate frequencies of all inclusion are visible perforating both surfaces. Breaks are rough.
