An s/b fragment, likely from an LM jar. The decorative schema consists of a single circumferential register of nail-shaped incisions that appear to average 1.8cm in length. The impressions are not very curvilinear, looking almost like a dotted line. The exterior surface is 15% covered in white corrosion and features rather deep and obvious rotational striations, almost impressions. Some external carbon may be from destruction burning. The internal rotational striations are less present than those on the exterior surface. The internal surface also features a curious furrow or possibly a join at the interior s/b break. A small lump (0.5cm wide) of extra clay is also present on the inferior interior body, at the break. Very light amounts of white corrosion across the internal surface--more on the shoulder than the body. In addition to the medium sand, significant frequencies of fine sand are also present in the fabric. Sand particles of all sizes as well as pyrite particles are visible perforating all surfaces in high frequencies. Breaks are rough.
