Shoulder fragment from a small LM vessel. The interior surface is completely abraded away, so the thickness measurement is inaccurate. The decorative schema consists of a register of circumferential herringbone ornaments situated between two circumferential incised lines. Each herringbone unit is composed of two lines forming a "V" shape. The upper portion of each shape has a different impression/imprint shape than the lower members, more rounded, less linear. Not enough of the register preserved to really analyze. Besides the fine sand, limited amounts of coarse and medium sand are also present in the fabric. The measurements of hardness and interior color not very accurate due to abraded interior and overall limited surface area of the sherd. The exterior surface is 10% covered with light brown corrosion, particularly inside the ornaments. Breaks are rough.
