locus 106 is the collapse layer of stones (ranging in dimension from a few centimeters to upwards of a meter) which slid down over the exposed bedrock in this operation, covering the flat clay sediments (locus 107) which in turn cover the late bronze floor. the stones are interspersed with large fragments of broken pottery, and a layer of mixed soil and large quantities of broken animal bones lay between the stone collapse and the bedrock in the eastern end of the operation. several groundstone objects have come from this area, and a ceramic spool- object came from the interface of locus 106 and 107.
