A pot stand or funnel that is largely complete, missong about three-quarters of the upper rim and body. But the foot is complete. the vessel is narrow at the foot and then widens at the shoulders and rim. It is handmade and a bit instable suggesting perhaps describing it as a funnel might be more appropriate to its functional possibilities. Hollow throughout, it is perhaps more adapted for this than serving as a pot stand. the surfaces are all highly mottled and uneven. the lip of the foot and rim are also uneven causing it to list.
