This locus is located in the eastern half of the trench and was opened in order to help deal with the severe sloping of the trench from W to E. Just as L102 is the arbitrary eastern locus in the trench, L103 is the corresponding western locus. The elevation point given here is the NE corner- other measurements can be found in the notebook.
