Large charcoal sample taken from the 3rd pass in L02 of T27. This is beneath all lower numbered charcoal samples from L02 and was taken as the first large sample in this lower pass. It was taken from an elevation of 2297.523 m, 0.80 m form the W baulk, 1.25 m from the S baulk. A portion of this sample was given to Roman so he can attempt to determine the wood species since rings were preserved.
