Place: Ar/Ge.T29.2

The brown, grass-supporting soil matrix of Locus 2 of T29 yielded a full bag of ceramics, a non-full bag of mostly cattle bones and teeth, and a non-full bag of unworked obsidian.

The soil is composed of moist, fine granules that support earthworm life, which is pretty cool.

6 sherds are diagnostic, consisting of LBA or "kind of" LBA typologies, and at least one EBA. Present may also be Iron III sherds, with their pinkish fabric and smooth exterior.

Rectilinear-but-unworked stone was also excavated. These two samples found appear to be of sedimentary nature, presenting with a sandy color, capped with a layer of dark red/sandy color.

Two samples of chalk or talc were found, which one worker used to write a license plate on the wheelbarrow.

Unworked, small samples of andesite were also found.

At NE, SE, and SW corners, curvilinear granite formations of yet-unknown origin were found, as supported by magnetometry survey. The granite components of this formation are of a portable size.
