    Locus 16 is a fairly dark brown soil, somewhat compact. It lies under locus 13 (may be seen in drawing for July 19th). Also likely lies above locus 17. Locus 16 is next to the backfill in T20. Also lies above the feature of flat stones (floor?), locus 31.
