This locus was created on 7/22/2013, but we began working around the feature on 7/19/2013. It is a semi-circle of flat stones, extending from locus 31 (a feature, perhaps a stone floor?). This was set into the surface of locus 23.
In locus 32, there is a square of light, floor-colored soil, upon which rests at least one of the stones of locus 28.
Locus 40 is 15 cm of soil under locus 28.
