A neck-to-body fragment of a small LB pot, high burnished, well preserved. Beginning at the n/s transition, almost the entire sherd is covered in decoration. The decorative schema consists of a single register of rhombus and linear geometric decoration positioned on a raised belt on the inferior neck. These are followed on the shoulder and body by a single spiral and what appears to be a bird ornament done in relief. The register measures 9mm in height. The exterior features large amounts of horizontal burnish marks and the interior shows dense circumferential rotational striations or wipe marks. Linear bands of clay texture on the interior neck suggest a possible micro-coil building technique. The exterior surface features highly limited amounts of white accretion, while the interior is approx. 10% covered in this material. Moderate amounts of mica inclusions are visible perforating the interior sherd surface. Breaks are rough.
