This ceramic disk is ovular in form. It is diagnostic of Kura-Araxes black and red burnished ware, suggesting that it was a repurposed ceramic sherd. The edges of the disk are incredibly smooth suggesting extensive use. Based on the edges, moreover, it is clear that this sherd is diagnostic with respect to its fabric as well. It is the typical coarse, tempered material. In addition to feel, the thickness of the object also suggests that it dates to the EB.
