This circular ceramic disk is made from a repurposed pot sherd. There is even a visible rim in this dusk with a lightly incised line running across about 10mm down from the top of the object. This exhibits many primary characteristics of Kura-Araxes pottery. It is black on red burnished ware. The relative coarseness and thickness is conventional of the period. Though the sherd has been intentionally worked into a circular form, the edges -- though smooth -- are a bit jagged.
