This tuff polisher is circular in shape. Despite the porous nature of the material, the object is incredibly smooth likely due to extensive use. The edges are visibly worked giving rise to the nice flat surfaces of the two paces and almost perfectly rounded edges. One of the two faces is slightly more rounded or bulbous than the other, suggesting that this was the side held against the palm of one's hand while the other flat side was used to polish.
