The form of this ceramic object remains baffling. The best interpretation I have is a Shengavit style lamp. The object has a circular base (with a diameter of 47.05mm). This base has a height of 38.89mm. From the top of the base the object opens up into some kind of bulbous container. Unfortunately due to the fragmented nature of the find, we only have a few mm of the body from which we are trying to estimate the overall form. The fabric of the material is incredibly course with a visible temper. The object is a reddish brown color.
