The form of this ceramic object is indeterminate. The object has a "base" with a diameter of 58.02mm. This base seems visibly worked into a circular form, although it seems possible -- even probably that this originally attached to a larger body (perhaps of a vessel). From this base there is some sort of broken stout or perhaps part of a handle with a diameter of 33.93. The fabric of the clay is fairly course with visible temper. The object is predominately black although the bottom of the "base" appears to be reddish brown, suggestive of black and red kura-araxes burnished ware. If I had to guess, I would hypothesize that this object was a utilized sherd/ handle.
