This bone tool has a fine point on one end. It is clear that the most of the fractures on the opposite end as well as on the sides are pre-depositional given the clean and smooth nature of the breaks. The tool is clearly polished on one side as evidenced by the shine and texture of the object. While the object is 13.63mm wide on the shaft, the point -- which is still in tact -- is 2.61mm. The tool is more or less bi-laterally symmetrical.
